1st - 2nd Grade CurriculumThe 1st-2nd Grade curriculum provides for a nurturing, child-centered environment, with a personalized, challenging, yet comfortable program. Our approach is to continue to build upon each child's skills by providing them with a variety of stimulating hands-on materials, and by using thematic learning units which build upon each child's interests and life experiences. We incorporate a multi-sensory teaching approach within the framework of our curriculum, which focuses on four basic areas of development and achievement: Cognitive, Affective, Social and Physical.
