FRENCH AND SPANISH

French is an enrichment subject in grades PK-2. Grades 3-5 study French as an academic subject.  Grades 6-8 may continue French and/or begin Spanish.  Many Wilson students have a high school foundation in both of these Romance languages when they leave Wilson.

MUSIC

Music forms an integral part of our arts program.  Besides general music classes once or twice a week, students in grades K-8 may opt for instrumental lessons, grades PK/K practice rhythm instruments, grades 1/2 play recorders, grades 3-8 form a choir and grades 6-8 learn hand chimes.

SWIMMING

The Wilson School has an indoor swimming pool which allows swimming to be part of the weekly curriculum.  The American Red Cross "Learn To Swim Program"  is taught at all grade levels.
