Educating Today's Children for Tomorrow's World!
June Tralle, director of Alumni & Development for The Wilson School, Mountain Lakes, announced the 2010 Alumni Brunch will be held on Sunday, May 16, from 12 noon to 2:30 pm. Tralle notes, “This is the first Alumni Brunch since the Wilson School’s 100th anniversary last year. We’re hoping that alumni, especially those who still live in the area, will join us that day for wonderful food, friendship, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to talk about the Wilson experience of yesterday and today.” She continued, “The Wilson School offered high school enrollment for many years. So far representatives of high school graduating classes as far back as 1944 have indicated they will attend, and we are hoping to see several members of the (high school) graduating class of 1960, celebrating their graduation’s 50th anniversary.” Tralle ended by saying, “Alumni, whether you attended last year or decades ago, for one year or thirteen, you are always part of The Wilson School Family! Keep up with happenings at The Wilson School today, share your experiences with today's students and keep in touch with old friends by joining us online anytime, and at the Alumni Brunch on May 16th.” Carolyn Borlo, Head of School, added, “Staying in touch with Wilson’s alumni is imperative for the continued success of the Wilson School. This year we have begun to use social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr to keep all alumni, as well as our staff and current parents, informed of all the wonderful happenings at Wilson School, but nothing can compare with an actual visit.” To reserve a place at the 2010 Alumni Brunch for $35/seat, email jtralle@thewilsonschool.com or call June Tralle at 973-334-0181. Parents, spouses and significant others are welcome. Founded in 1909, The Wilson School is an independent, Pre-K through 8th grade school in Mountain Lakes. The school has held to its core principles for 100 years, while at the same time managing to be one of the most technologically advanced schools in Morris County.
