1. Is
The Wilson School accredited? What about its teachers?
The Wilson
School
is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and
Schools. All of our teachers are certified as well. The School is
also a member the New Jersey
Association of Independent Schools and the Educational Records Bureau. The
Wilson School is in the process of becoming dually accredited by NJAIS. 2.
Is the school religiously affiliated?
The school is non-denominational
and welcomes students of all faiths. We respect and appreciate the diversity
within the school. At our weekly
"Chapel"
assembly, we follow Wilson traditions
and incorporate the Lord's Prayer, a "Poem for Children around the World", the
Pledge of Allegiance, and a Moment of Silence into each Friday program. Each
member of the Wilson community is invited to participate in the ecumenical
aspects of the program to the degree with which they are comfortable.

How much is tuition at The Wilson School? At The Wilson
School, we strive to keep our tuition competitive while continuing to
offer a superior educational value. Unlike some schools, our tuition is
all-inclusive and, with the exception of the optional lunch plan and
skiing, covers the cost of all
textbooks, most supplies, field trips, and a yearbook. Click here to see our

offer financial aid? Yes. Approximately 25% of our
families rely upon some type of financial aid to assist them with

What is the average class size at The Wilson School? Our goal has always been to balance the need for vibrant class
discussion and participation with the need for individualized learning and
attention. As a result, the average class size is between 7 and 10 students.
6. From what towns do Wilson School students come?
The majority of our students come from the towns including and
surrounding Mountain Lakes, including Boonton, Denville, East Hanover,
Morristown, Morris Plains, Morris Township, Parsippany, Randolph, Rockaway and
Whippany. We have a number of students, however, who come from cities and towns
all across the Northern New Jersey area.
7. Where is The Wilson School located,
can I get directions?
The
Wilson School is situated on a scenic boulevard in beautiful Mountain
Lakes NJ. You have to visit to experience the campus and the

8. Does The Wilson School provide busing or transportation?
No. The
decision to offer busing or transportation lies with your local school district.
If the district does not offer transportation services, you are usually eligible
for some level of reimbursement from the district, county or state. In addition,
The Wilson School can help with identifying and facilitating parent carpools.

8. When is school in session?
The school year begins the Wednesday after Labor Day and ends in mid-June.
Regular school hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and
Fridays from 8:15 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. Go to the

9. Does
The Wilson School offer any kind of after school care? The Wilson Plus
program is a child-care and enrichment program open to students in PK
through 8th Grade. The program is run by our teachers, and operates every school
day until 6:00 p.m. The program fees are $10 to $30 per day (depending upon
pick-up time), or $2,100 for the full year (payable at $235/month for 10
months). 10. Does The Wilson School offer a lunch plan?
The school offers an optional lunch plan for all students, which includes
healthy, nutritious, peanut-free hot and cold lunch entrees which are prepared
in-house. A typical menu would include the following choices: ·
A hot or cold entree complete with bread, vegetables or a salad ·
A salad bar with soup and sandwich ·
A choice of dessert and beverage The cost of the lunch plan is $550.00
per year. 11. Where do students go after Wilson? After
graduation, our students go on to successful high school careers at the county
and state’s finest public, private and parochial schools. Among the schools our
recent graduates have attended are Barnstable Academy, Blair Academy, Gill St.
Bernard School, Local Public School Honors Programs, Montclair Kimberley
Academy, Morris Catholic High School, Morris County Academy for Math and
Sciences, Morristown-Beard School, New York Military Academy, Newark Academy,
