“St. John’s was organized and developed as a small school. But the devotion of our alumn[i] is in inverse ratio to its size and this fact attests a value in small classes and personal relationships which transcends numbers.”
The Idea of a School By Theresa L. Wilson
The Wilson School, founded as St. John’s School in 1909, literally would not exist without the support of its alumni. When fire destroyed the school in 1978 the Alumni Association reached out to alumni around the world who then contributed substantially to the rebuilding effort. Today, alumni contribute time, talent and money to ensure today’s students will have as rich an experience as yesterday’s students had. Alumni support makes a difference!
